“Nobody understands how the world will change. The only way you can plan for the future is to have scenarios. You have to have the courage to take a leap of faith on one of them. ”  - Anand Mahindra

Participation at the 15th BASIS SOFTEXPO was a milestone for IoT For Bangladesh. The largest regional technology congress took place at ICCB, Bashundhara, Dhaka from 19th March to 21st March 2019. Multiple tech and business entities in Bangladesh came under one roof and presented their products and services. Starting from the leading telecommunication organizations to small start-ups, this year’s SoftExpo was full of innovative ideas and products.

IoT for Bangladesh was lucky enough to be a part of this year’s congress. The three-day-long exhibition was essential for the growth of IoT For Bangladesh. Being an exhibitor for the first time, it opened a big range of opportunities for the company and the whole experience was praiseworthy. Not only a variety of people was encountered, but also the aim and the actions of IoT For Bangladesh got appreciation from many people including the Head of the Telenor Group.

The main purpose was to reach out to people and to introduce ‘IoT’ to them and also to create awareness. It is safe to say that IoT For Bangladesh was able to shed light on the importance of IoT for the fourth industrial revolution and was able to demonstrate the reason behind the foundation of the company. The available two editions of the magazine and a brochure, containing our actions and vision, was offered and attained huge response from other companies and visitors.

It was an amazing learning experience. Moreover, it gave the perfect platform to present IoT For Bangladesh’s publication. On the last day of the exhibition, Farhana A. Rahman, Convenor, BASIS SoftExpo 2019 and Vice President, BASIS gifted an award. It was the push that was much necessary for IoT For Bangladesh to grow into something bigger and fulfil its aim.
